This is a recipe 😊
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pouch Chili seasoning (any brand … Or if you are really good … Which I’m not … You can make your own)
- 1 8oz (or bigger if you want to get crazy) can of your favorite salsa
- 2 cans Kidney Beans (rinsed and drained … Or vice-a-versa?)
- Water (to refill salsa jar)
Cook ground beef until done. Drain (or don’t … I won’t call the cooking police on you). Add back to pan. Add seasoning and salsa. Fill up salsa jar with water, and add to mix. Add beans. Stir often. Cook at least 20 minutes to allow flavors to mix, and to allow it to get thick … Like chili. Just remember to stir often so it doesn’t “spit” and burn.
Options: Add package of corn while cooking. Add canned (or if you are all fancy, and make your own, more power to you) tamales. Add pickled jalepenos while cooking. Use ground deer meat instead of beef (which makes me gag, but if you like it, go for it!! 😊).
Serve with cheese and sour cream on top. Serve with saltine crackers, cornbread, or tortilla chips. Even better the next day!!
